So...we fly to Melbourne a week today!
I cannot wait. Dh started his new job at the begiining of this month...he found a job in less than 3 weeks (I am sooo proud of him) and he is enjoying it so far. It's in the Melbourne CBD which is awesome cause it means we can live in any of the areas we like and the commute will be the same!
Amy has been missing her daddy terribly and so have I, our internet was down the whole of last week so that was terrible but we are back online now. Thank heavens for Skype!
Our container left from Durban harbour on Sunday so we should have our stuff delivered in 6 weeks time! It was awesome having them come in and pack for us, I wasn't even there when they did it! We are renting a fully furnished 2 bedroom holiday apartment by the beach for the first 4-6 weeks until we find a house so that should be fun!
Bought a cot in Oz so that Amy has something to sleep in (she refuses to sleep in a campcot so we had to buy a proper cot!)and DH has bought her stuffed toys etc, shame he misses us terribly.
I am doing well, very excited about this new venture ahead of us and know that we HAVE to make it work...every time I watch Carte Blanche, I am more convinced of this.
On a different note: I am LOVING being a mommy at the moment, Amy is adorable and such a little toddler now, I must say that I love this age and think being a mommy is the best thing EVER...we are all so blessed.
Gonna miss the awesome friends i've made through BM so much though...thank heavens for facebook! Look forward to hearing about all the second babbas :)

You are sounding so excited and i am so happy that things seem to work out so nicely. I am sure you guys are going to make a huge success of the move and that you will be settled in no time.

Ah my friend, I am so very excited for you, but we also are going to miss you loads! All the best with your trip next week and am looking forward to hearing updates from you on your new life in Aus. And definitely you can't leave BM :Big Grin: :p
